The CFATF Secretariat continues its article series on the Stages of Asset Recovery, designed to provide insights into the key phases of identifying, tracing, confiscating, recovering, management and disposal criminal assets. The series aims to strengthen understanding of effective asset recovery practices and the relevant FATF Standards.
The second article in the series, “Stages of Asset Recovery: Asset Tracing,” was published on August 12th, 2026. It focuses on the importance of tracing assets and the components of the asset tracing process.
